C.A.R.E. PROGRAM INFORMATION

C.A.R.E. stands for COMPREHENSIVE ADDICTION REHABILITATION AND EDUCATION. C.A.R.E. does not just treat an addiction. We treat a person - a human being with specific needs, histories and reasons for becoming dependent on a substance or a way of life. C.A.R.E. looks deep at the problems of each individual and designs a custom addiction treatment program to fit the needs of the patient. We use a modified 12 Step Program like those traditionally found at Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous but go far beyond where institutions like those leave off. Through holistic healing, pain management and treatment of underlying psychological factors we have a high success rate of drug rehabilitation, alcohol detox and continue to concentrate on relapse prevention.

CARES HELPS has joined forces with Recovery Radio Live, the nation's only syndicated radio show carrying the 12 step message of recovery, to award two 30-day scholarships to listeners.

Listeners may call in or write to Recovery Radio Live to nominate themselves or a loved one to win this valuable opportunity at CARE Addiction Recovery in North Palm Beach, Florida.

The winner of the scholarship, which is valued at $22,000, will be announced live on the air Saturday, September 20, during Recovery Radio Live! The show is broadcast live from 2-4 p.m. ET in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and the Palm Beaches on WTFL-AM 850 and is delay-broadcast for the Los Angeles area on KLSX 97.1 Free FM, Saturdays from 11PM to 12AM. Contest rules and regulations

1. Participants in the contest must be judged appropriate by CARE staff. This means that they must medically, emotionally and physically able to participate in the program.

2. Participants in the contest may not be in need of medical detoxification. If they are, they will have to arrange for it at their own expense.

3. Participants must be willing to attend treatment and be serious about their recovery.

4. Participants must be willing to speak anonymously on the radio show, maintain an on-line journal and//or blog etc.

5. Participants will be responsible for all medical expenses and medications.

6. Participants will be responsible for their food and personal expenses. This is usually approximately $500 per month.

7. Participants are responsible for their own transportation. CARE staff will pick participants up at the airport and/or train station if appropriate.

8. Participants understand that they must follow all rules. Failure to do so will be grounds for discharge.

• CARE will provide two completely free scholarships to be awarded by Radio Recovery live per year
• CARES Helps will provide a minimum of twelve partial scholarships per year to be awarded by Radio Recovery Live monthly
• CARES Helps will match every dollar donated with an equal amount of dollars in services.
• CARE Addiction Recovery will absorb all administrative costs for administering the scholarships. Every dollar donated will go directly to treatment
• CARE Addiction Recover will also provide an additional fully paid scholarship for every 22,000 dollars raised in scholarship funds through Recovery Radio Live
